Progress. Another thing to consider is
that erratic primer ignition is absolutely murderous on accuracy. I hear ya on filthy 22s - especially with cans as their backpressure blows all sorts of crud back into the action and magazine. Some ammo is just awful; CCI is one of the cleanest.
If you want, I can send you a 10/22 threaded barrel to try and see if that helps your accuracy issue - it might not resolve the issue, but it would give you another data point. What length was yours again?
