That was "the rig".
This was a 2000 pistol. Some references call it a "22/45 Mk II". No loaded chamber indicator or magazine safety, for example. So I guess it would be considered "early" as they started making them in 1995.
Interesting in that it has bounced around my circle of amigos for 10 years, anyway. It was acquired at a gun show, and we have no idea who threaded the barrel, or how long the barrel was. But the work was done decently.
