Early 1851 copy question
Just curious if anyone has any experience with early Uberti Colt copies. One is available locally and is kind of interesting. He says it was made by Uberti and Gregorelli for NAVY ARMS in 1963. Sounds like Uberti had the manufacturing capabilities and Gregorellinhad the license. I’m just wondering if it’s worth getting for a shooter. It sounds neat but if it has dimensional differences that could cause issues with getting spare parts if need be, it’s not worth the headache. I’ve wanted to pick up another 1851 for awhile, so they have been on my radar!
