I hadn't heard that. I have one open and a few sealed. I guess we're gonna find out!

I don't keep paper cartridges much longer than a month. Too much fun! I find Triple 7 gives higher velocities than black powder or Pyrodex. Accuracy is good with it also.

I gave a Harpers Ferry pistol to a friend recently and gave him a can of 777 that I've had for years and knew I'd never use again. First thing was, about 75% of the bottle was a solid mass. (I thought this was an unused jug as well). Took some shaking and some poking to break it up back into powder. When we fired it, it seemed a bit "wimpy" compared to the other sub we were using. In the end we sprinkled it all over the ground in the sand at the range.

I have two more bottles that need the same end. And a couple bottles of Clean Shot and a couple bottle of American Pioneer I figure are well into questionable at this point. And some 35 year old, dreaded pyrodex. lol
