She is at Lackland AFB. Getting her butt kicked. I got to be at her swearing in. She is so smart. Her MOS will be Crypto-Linguist. I am very proud.
I have 26 years in, my wife served for 10 my brother served for 22. She continues a proud tradition.

I remember very well getting of that blue bus at Lackland to be greeted by DIs at something around midnight to a whole new world. I am sure she will do an outstanding job. I bet the female DIs dispositions have not improved a whit.

Bravo!! (& thanks for your service: )

What language? I was a Chinese-Mandarin linguist, albeit in the Army. Still went to the same classes at Monterey. Great post there. I know you are proud of her. It is a wonderful thing!

I love it!

To see a fathers features in a beautiful daughter is special. She is lovely. Clearly, you have raised a wonderful young woman. I remember when both my elder children left my house for the service...USMC machine gunner and US Army combat aviation intel...good memories...
