he was staying the place next to our house. One morning I was coming out and could hear his gate banging. I walked over there and he was trying to push it open from inside. He was struggling and could not get it to open outward more than about 4". I asked if I could help and he said "please." So I pushed it inward and it swung open. He apparently had been trying to push it outward for some time. I won't mention his name since he is highly regarded in some circles .. but I have had a good laugh about that ever since.
