There are upcoming changes to the 4473 form.

Amounts to if your address is in city limits.

Is/are firearm(s) not manufactured by a licensee ? (homemade)

Do you intend to sell said firearm(s) ?

If you do indeed intend to sell firearm(s), is buyer prohibited from ownership of arms/ammunition ?

We can imagine where all of this is going. Credit card companies are flagging purchases of anything to do with firearms.

Fedex drivers now scan d.l.s. UPS drivers submit to the local p.d. the exterior bill of lading on packages containing explosives (black powder).

The above last happened to me recently. Was tracking several pounds of b.p. from grafs & sons. Was out for delivery then delayed till next day. UPS driver said he had to give exterior copy of bill of lading to front desk clerk (dispatcher supervisor) at the p.d.

I never could quite ken if this is new company policy or just an impertinent, p.c. busybody driver.

I find it a lot more fun and adventurous

to meet some unknown person in a parking lot and deal out of the trunk of a car. I once drove 200 miles to meet a guy in a park and exchange one handgun I owned for 2 of his. Buying primers and gunpowder in the parking lot of a grocery store at the beginning of the Kung Flu was nice and went well. :-D

Forgot to add ...

I recently bought quite a bit of black powder and some Triple 7 from Powder Valley. It came FedEx with no hassles. Had to sign for it like we've had to do forever. Staying away from UPS as they have publicly declared "gun stuff" to be targeted.
