singing cowboys from the early talkies was riding along on the prairie singing "home on the range" when he came up on a herd of bison.

He stopped singing and said to any bison who cared to listen, "you all are just about the ugliest beasts I've ever seen !" Then he resumes "home on the range" and rides away.

One bison, after contemplating some of the lyrics of the song, says to another, "I think we've just heard a discouraging word."
