480 Ruger

Will the ACOG handle 480 recoil? I have a choice between the ACOG and a Leapers. Was going to put Leapers on SBH and ACOG on Marlin 30-30 Trapper I am putting together from parts. One piece SBH base for the Leapers is on back order. Had the two piece steel base handy. Leapers has a bigger window, ACOG no batteries, always on, orange triangle is easy to find quickly.
