I've used/use Wolf in mine with no ill effects thus far.
IIRC much of the WW2 30 Carbine ammo had steel cases so that shouldn't be an issue.
I've had no problems with it, no malfunctions or misfires, though it is a bit less powerful than other commercial loadings.
