ammo? Are you more concerned with price or quantity?
If one buys by the case I like the Mini-Mags to work in anything, then the Winchester PowerPoints, then Federal, Golden-Bullets. I have quantities of older Standard Velocity but it doesn't work through all semi-autos. I think the Federals have a thicker rim and don't work with some extractors.
