I have always loved N frames. I picked up this 6" 629 in Alaska. When I moved to AZ, I had Alan Harton Cut it to five inches and chamfer the cylinder into a black powder style bevel. AK Ray had showed me a 629 Classic and I REALLY liked the leading edges of the cylinder beveled. In a moment of foolishness, I sold it to Andy Subdoc ... He traded it to Lee Jurras. Lee traded it back to me a few years ago... I took it hog hunting and it worked well. last fall Bobby Tyler asked me to pick my favorite gun of all time... I traded Steve out of these Herretts...It was between this, my Mountain Gun or a old beater lwt Commander... I sent this... wow! [image][image][image][image][image][image]
