That was the 24-3
The 24-2 was made, on paper, between 1961 and 1967, when the Model 24 was discontinued. Wouldn't surprise me if S&W didn't make any after the early 1960s due to low demand. The pre -3 Model 24s are all like hen's teeth. I think it is easier to find a Model 1950 Target than a model marked M24.
