Will factory grips from a Ruger Single Six ~ mid 1980s vintage fit a Blackhawk of same vintage?

should bee the same on the single six and blackhawk of that vintage. This obviously excludes the Super Blackhawk Dragoon style grip frame.

I checked a Super (Dragoon)and they "looked" larger without trying.

Long story behind the question:

Lifelong friend, (blood brother) deceased as of Nov '17, his grips on a Single Six, my Blackhawk which is presently inaccessible.
