We got Murphy .Socialist to the extreme ! Bad times ahead. Love ya all if I should disappear in a mist of bad. Told my wife if he won we would have to move but logistics and timing are not lining up. So if ya see a story on the news saying some extremist bit it. Think kindly and say a prayer for me. J.Michael

Heck, I enjoy hunting grouse, even have a Llewellyn setter now that needs more experience with them. Uncowboy would be more than welcome to help get her some of that experience also. MI may not be one of the most gun-friendly states, but it is heaps better in that regard than several others. My cousin's ex lives in the garden state and is a firearms enthusiast as well, was talking to him over the Christmas holiday, does not know how much longer he will be able to remain there either, but has lived there his entire life so far.

I have no idea who this Murphy is, but

when I have driven through NJ on the way to NYC, and seen all the "if you see (fill in th3 blank), dial Police at etc etc" road signs, the profound feeling was of driving through Red Square or 1938 Berlin.

But, also know, hard to move from those areas, as wages likely far worse elsewhere, healthcare far more expensive, and to make a break for freedom could cost real monthly income a thousand, or even several thousand dollars. In NYC, comprehensive (vision, dental, health) healthcare with ZERO deductible and ZERO top end can run between $0-$21/mth for a retiree on SS. PLUS help for rent. Many cannot afford the hit, especially if family depending on them.
