In 1970, Bill Jordan was invited to S&W to perform one of his famous shooting exhibitions. To everyone's embarrasment, Massachusetts would not allow Jordan to bring his guns into the state. So Roy Jinks had the factory quickly make up a mod 10, and a 36 to Jordan's requested specifications. This is the mod. 10. It has had the hammer bobbed and checkered, and the trigger guard relieved on the right side. The action has been tuned to a very smooth and light DA pull. As much as I would enjoy a gun owned by Jordan, even if only for a show length, I simply would be child rummaging in daddy's toolbox next to the tractor out in the barn. The gun would be wasted on me.
