2 more finished........

After totally ruining two blanks several weeks ago and spending most of last weekend grinding/heat treating/tempering 4 new blanks I am on a little bit of a roll now....

This one got screwed up at the tip during profiling, re-ground and re-profiled the last 1/4" of the blade, looks better now....

This is one of the new blanks I did last weekend, turned out ok, not sure if I like the unbalanced look of the big blade and small handle, 3 5/8" blade and 7 3/4" oal, feels good in my hand....

Both 1095 HC steel with Desert Ironwood scales and nickel silver pins, both are slicing machines, finally getting a hang of blade profiling, even grind along the edge, though I did leave the tip, on the hollow grind, ever so slightly thicker to keep from being fragile, still cuts awesome. I ground another blank this afternoon and glued scales to it, should be able to finish it next weekend, only time of the week I can get into the shop to do knife stuff.
