The Police Chiefs Assn, and the Police Unions have long held the position that LEOs are for the collective good of society, not to insure individual safety. Their sincerity in this position has never been more evident.
And they're saying what about the NRA & its members?

This is a prime example of why someone inside needs to be armed. As for the police, I fault their training and the courage of the individuals. I thought the "wait for backup" training had been abandoned for active shooters but apparently not...but the officers should have gone in...period !! Israel needs to lose his job.

he stayed outside, by the front door, instead of going in and challenging the shooter, which is what he signed up to when he took his job.
