Mini 14 ranch rifle mount
I have a clamp on see through mount on my mini 14 ranch rifle. I have had trouble with it working loose. The last time Ioctited everything which hopefully fixed the problem but am still thinking of a replacement rail that clamps into the divots on the receiver. Any suggestions? I have a compact scope with lighted reticle. I have had issues with it being seated far enough back to see the entire View too and have extended rings Iām on the mount.
Ranch Rifles are built to use Ruger rings. They were best

that way. See through mounts ruin any possibility to achieve any sort of stock weld...Invest in a better scope! Redfield's 2x7 has good glass and is very affordable. as is much of the Vortex line of optics.

carbine scope. I put one on Peggi's CZ-527 (7.62x39) and it's been way clearer, and more precise in adjustment, than what I expected.
