Our German Shorthair is developing difficulties....
....her rear hips are bothering her, and it is hard to keep weight on her. She was a rescue dog, but our vet says the shelter underestimated her age by a fair amount. I see her slowing down considerably from when we got her four years ago. The more she slows down, the more I fuss over her.
Is it just me, or do our aging dogs often exhibit the most enjoyment in life towards the end? Barring dogs with severe health issues, of course.
