Proper Care Of Antique Wood Furniture?
Brought home an interesting piece of furniture yesterday. I'm not able to find any type of markings that might determine the age. I was told the wood was Oak. Has a dark finish on it & looks nice. Previous owner said they used mineral oil on it. Should I continue with mineral oil, or is there a better product available that I should use? In the past we have had more modern furniture & used Lemon Pledge type of products to dust with. I'm thinking that Lemon Pledge is probably not the best product to use.
Thank you
