That's about pacing, recoil and you.
First time I shot pins fast, we had a 1911, a S&W 586 and a Webley in 38S&W (with it's 75lb trigger pull). And now matter what, my runs with the Webley were faster and more accurate. Which makes absolutely no sense.
I know that wouldn't be the case today though.
