I was sorting brass last week...

And I came across two pieces of .454 Casull brass. I don't own a .454, so I thought well, I could trim them back to .45 Colt length, but then I remembered that they use small rifle primers so that sounded like too much trouble. So, today I picked this up to put those two pieces of brass to good use!

Luckily it came with two boxes of Hornady ammo, a set of RCBS dies and 200 pieces of Starline brass!! Now to load up some ammo and find time to get it to the range.

Watch the ERH, no recoil lug. Also, check the grips.

If the locating pin is mislocated and redrilled, the grips will shift and crack.

There's a lot to be said...

Hay, ya had the brass, you needed the gun. Good show, get out there and enjoy the new Ruger.

Nice! As mentioned, grips may require attention

At a minimum, make sure they are located correctly, that the wood fit to metal isn't too proud, and that they are tightened down enough.
