Anyone have a Triple K holster list?

by Hoot @, Diversityville, Liberal-sota, Monday, March 06, 2017, 08:06 (2821 days ago)

Miss Melodie bought a Triple K 39-61 holster this weekend on the assurance it would fit several semi-autos here at Casa Hoot. We haven't found a match yet. The integral mag pouch is deep enough for some sort of double stack (a Para Warthog mag fits). Their web site lists only by pistol model with no holster number showing. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Anyone have a Triple K holster list?

Maybe full sized Glock? 17, 22, etc.

If you go to the fit chart at the bottom of this page:

https://www.triplek.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/2015_Catalog.pdf

You can see the flocks are in 'Group 61' and the holster is a model #39. It's very small in my phone but I think that's what it says

Somebody get that man a cee-gar. Yep, Glock 17, 19, 22 & 23. None of which are in residence here.

Funny, we were gazing at that catalog yesterday and I completely missed the 'Group Number' column and therefore couldn't make head nor tail of the chart.

Thanks!

Follow-up question for extra credit.

Because I know pretty much nada about Glocks, I had to visit their website to find out exactly which pistols the 17, 19, 22 & 23 were. Is it correct to say these are the "full size, double stack models"? Or is there a better description? Miss Melodie wants to handle one to see if she needs to save her pennies or dispose of the holster and I'd like to know for what to ask.

Thanks again.

Glock has a nice chart. But

9mm/.40 S&W In general the 17/22 is the original full size double stack, and a little bit wider than a Beretta or Hi Power magazine.
the 19/23 are mid size, shorter in muzzle and grip frame the 26/27 are shorter still sub compact.

Funny, most of the S&W model numbers are well known ('tho some are still a mystery) but the Glock numbers don't seem to grab hold in my noggin.

oh and mag pouches belong on the weak hand side for

I had to laugh at myself the other day. I was perusing the local
Classifieds ads and I saw a S&W model 15-22. My first thought was, "wow, I can't believe there have been 22 versions of the old K frame!" Then I felt like a moron when I realized it was the.22 lr AR-15 lookalike model 15-22!!

Indeed.

S&W really bollixed things up by recycling some of their model numbers and names.

Indeed.

Yep, I've told a couple of buddies about the new/old Bodyguard I picked up last weekend and they said, "Why do you want a .380?"
