Beater Police Positive update.

So, we dropped off the PPS with the bent crane off to our favorite 'smith around noon last Wednesday. He's functionally deaf so I wrote up a list of things I knew to be wrong and also letting him know it wasn't to turn into a money pit. The phone rings at about 3pm the same day telling me it was done. Turns out the majority of the binding was from some internal bits not being located properly. He diasssembled, cleaned and correctly reassembled. The crane is still off a bit and the use and abuse earlier in its' life is still there but it is much better today. Total cost: $40.

I'll have to see what's in the ammo locker for this caliber and take it for a test drive.
