Dimensions.....
My main concerns are the top surface being perfectly flat and the radius being consistent and straight, beyond that the dimensions can vary. It doesn't have to be exact as I spec'd. If a machinist has a piece of steel that is 7.75 x 3.5 x 7/8" that works for me, no need to buy a new piece of steel to match the drawing specs. As to needing a CAD drawing, not necessary but thanks for the offer. By all means please ask your friend if this is something he would be interested in.
