Yup. Not a 1917 but a Colt New Service in 45LC or .44-40 with an SAA ejector rod housing attached to the barrel. A popular customization with the movie prop people. They allow actors to shoot without having to remember to cock the gun. There's a scene in the movie Five Card Stud where Dean Martin and Robert Mitchum take turns shooting at a windmill. Both are using New Service SAA conversions, but carry SAAs in other non shooting scenes. I've even seen Randolph Scott films where both he and other actors use the New Service/SAA's.
