Ballpark yes but not the same league.

With the Beowulf i am getting 1550 with a 450gr with a heavy .45-70 load I can get that with a 540gr.

Also I have shot a lot of 405gr bullets out of the 45-70 from 1850-2000 depending on barrel length. The Beowulf won't quite do that.
