Range report on my Hisgh Standard Sport King
Don, a friend of mine had one of those several years ago with the same problem, and asked me to see if I could fix it. I ordered a new magazine (I think from GPC) which worked well. By comparing the old mag with the new one I could see how the old one was different, and by some careful tweaking I managed to get the old mag working pretty well. I think you are on the right track.
