Remington is adding a long slide 10mm 1911...
it would be great to see one from Ruger also. It's good to see more 10mm options coming into production.

That is actually the Para-USA 10mm relabeled.....

.......Cerebus is slowly phasing out the Para brand, and folding those models into the Remington line.
I'm glad to see them keep the lomgslide in the lineup, it is well worth saving.

Interesting. Thx for the info.

I've been looking for a long slide 10mm that wasn't super expensive. Could be an option.
i liked mine....

....for what it's worth. Shot it a bunch, but it moved along to fund something else. No flaws that I could see.
We have a used Para in the shop that a regular customer traded in. It is super clean, I think he said he fired 200 rounds total before a SIG Legion caught his eye. The boss is asking $999, but he is pretty liberal on pricing if you wave cash at him.

Thx for the heads up. I'm still looking at options. NT

I'm a bit underwhelmed with mine.

It's nice looking (other than the stupid rail), fit and finish are nice. Slide to frame fit is pretty good, though there is some up and down play at the rear, otherwise tight. The internals are MIM, but that's to be expected.
My let down though is with accuracy, so far I'm really unimpressed. Maybe I haven't found the right load or maybe I'm expecting too much, I dunno. (The other four 1911's I have, even a 3 1/2" one will easily out shoot it). I gave it a nice trigger and changed the barrel bushing to a tight EGW angle bore type and it made no difference.
Hmmm... it gets worse.

Working with it a bit tonight changing the trigger. I'm noticing some things I never have before. I can push the barrel down a bit, never noticed that before. I THOUGHT I'd tried in the past and couldn't, maybe not.
I also have more up and down movement in the slide than I notice before. AND, left and right movement that I never noticed before.
Is this thing shooting loose? Heck I've only got a few hundred rounds through it. That's not good.
Curious to hear more. I don't like the rail either. NT
