...And I feel the Black Dogs circling, as the sky darkens & the rains return.

It appears this winter will be most trying to overcome, as two of my four legged companions have reached an age that they won't be with me much longer.

One selected me to be his human over 17 years ago & has been by my side through thick & thin ever since.

They will be missed dearly.

Winter Approacheth...

Take care and be aware. If you need a place to get into the warm sun, please DO consider coming down here to Coffee Country. All you need is a passport and plane ticket. The one thing I do not miss from the north land is the part of fall that's covered with dreary clouds for weeks on end and the part of winter where the days are short and dark.

Appreciate The Offer...

Thank you, but I'm needed where I'm at & do not have the freedom to travel at this time.

Please enjoy that sunshine & coffee.

the sunlight every chance you get. Look at the far horizons and go for a walk whenever you can. Make the time to spend with friends and family. These things helped me.It's one of the reason's I didn't mind moving back to Arizona, from Alaska...

I cannot begin to tell you how to cope with good old dogs dying...I have a framed picture of a couple of my great dogs...

Hang tough call your fiends. come out to the Grand Canyon and here for a visit!

The Grand Canyon North Rim is fantastic; heck the 30 minute drive in through the Kaibab is amazing. Book an hour mule ride while you're there, it will scrub the crud out of your head and free your mind.

From Az. & Been Trying To Return...

I keep losing out on buying a home in Az. to cash buyers from California.

The continual rain & lack of sunshine for months on end is unbearable.

My Companion Just Left This World...

He was more than you could ever hope for.

I may be the one who pays the household bills, but he was the King.
