I just bought a Rossi. 92 chambered in .454. Anyone else have one.? I bought a .357 a few months back and after slicking it up some I really like it. I'm ne feature I do love me is the way the mag tube is set up on the .454. I read Pacos article on Gunblast last night. I plan to use it for whitetails in the woods so I will probably shoot a 250-270 grain bullet.

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. I bought it at a local auction house. Now I wish I didn't sell all my .454 reloading stuff when I sold my FA.

The ones I've handled were nice...

when they came out I thought they wouldn't hold up to the PSI but they seem to be doing fine.

The one I want is the 480 Ruger version.

I think the 480 with a scout setup would be the berries. best truck gun ever.

Exactly. Can't believe they are so hard to find. NT

.454 Rossi 92?

I have one in 357. Smoothed up good and is accurate but the loading port is really rough.

Shot mine a good bit until it started getting pretty loose.

Replaced three forearms as they cracked badly through the barrel band screw from recoil. Screw broke once.
