Current Colt 1911's quality question.

I've been mulling over adding a new 1911 to the pile. The Colt Combat Elite (after adding a mag well) seems to be just the ticket to scratch my itch.

Has anyone here purchased a Colt 1911 in the past 3-4 years? If so, I'd like your input as to how it's been holding up.
