Last two weeks I ramped up in the knife shop, got the juices flowing with the Damascus knives and here is what came out of the shop so far.....

Another Damascus blank finished with Desert Ironwood.....

Ground out a new style blank....

Finished heat treating and tempering late Sunday, hope to finish it this coming weekend, really excited about this new design.

Then I shifted onto knives I had in different states of finishing.....

Tried a new handle material, Desert Camo Kirinite......

Tried a new handle texture called rock pattern.....

Not sure I like the layout of the pattern I did but it made the micarta grippyer.

Hollow grind with large head, thumb ramp and curved tang with Desert Ironwood....

Something a little different....large blade (5") with short handle with black micarta....

Thin slicer that is tapered toward the point with black micarta....

Then I took one of my big blade blank and tried to do a hollow grind on it....

Total failure, fast, that's what happens when you do not set the correct height on the tool rest and lean on the blank against a 36 grit too long : (
