Thank you. I needed to bend the leaf up a few degrees, on that sight you sent me. Usually heating them to a dark red first insures they won't snap... patient did not survive the procedure But I was able to salvage the dovetail base off it, which is perfect for rifles like mine with the larger cuts. I've got a retro-66 sight project in mind for it.
