Looking for a small lockblade knife for my 8 year old
Tom, check out the Opinel knives. They are light, inexpensive but well made, and have a unique rotary lock that is very easy to manipulate. They come in several sizes. I have a No. 8 which has a 3 1/8 inch blade, but I believe there are others that are smaller.
The blade lock has to be turned to lock the blade after it is opened, but once engaged it is very positive and will not slip, but is very easy to rotate back to the unlocked position.

- I guess so. He might do better with a larger liner lock - stonewalrus, 2015-10-25, 06:38
