I have a table at the show this weekend in Boise, and one of my neighbors set out this nice Interarms Virginian .357 that was made by Hammerli. This unbearable situation was remedied by acquisition of said .357.

I had one I passed on to a friend. SCARY accurate. If it had a Bisley grip frame I would never had let it go.

Does it have a firing pin bushing?

I bought one that did not... hole was eroded and The primers would flow back, jamming up the cylinder... even with hard CCI primers. a Gunsmith friend took it off my hands and repaired kit.

This thing will live on .38 Specials.

It doesn't appear to have a bushing. I think I"m going to replace the hammer spring though. It feels like it's strong enough to throw a cat into the next county.

Huh, I saw the 'twin' to that this last weekend.

Only in .44. I paused but did not linger. Neat stuff...

.44? As in, a Colt sized .44 Special?

Or the .44 Mag Virginian Dragoon?

Doh! Brain wasn't directing the typing finger(s).

Yep, a Magnum. The Special would have gotten much more attention. As it was, I looked, noted it was by Hammerelli and .44 Mag and moved on.
