44 Magnum is my favorite caliber ...
My 45 colt mtn gun is far nastier to shoot with 250gr at 1200 than my 480 is with 375gr at 1100-1209fps. The Smiths bite my thumbs base far more than Bisleys or FAs do.
Plus I normally run my 480 with a 375gr bullets at 850-1050fps, they are a lot of fun.
