My Mini-14 and looked down in the used pistol cabinet and sitting there was a nickel Model 19 P&R with a 2-2.5" barrel. It locked up very tight, timed perfect and looks like it's been sitting in a sock drawer for 30 years. It is now in layawake and I will sleep again when it is under my roof! This is my repentance for letting my first model 66 go. I won't make that same mistake again!

now that is a really good score!

I looked down and saw it in the case and said something like "Tell me that's not really a model 19..." And he said "I don't know anything about those old guns" and I had to point it out to him. It's got my name on it now and and soon soon soon it's gonna be home where it will be loved and its owner will know what it is and appreciate it as such:)

Yep...

I waited over 25 years to find mine, and love it. It will out shoot me and I have used it to head shoot a couple black squirrels so far. A little heavy for regular use, but with a decent holster have even used it for pocket carry. On the belt it is barely even noticeable.
