You can buy from a dealer such as Buxton or Clinton who charge only catalog price and no premium.
Base models with classic leather start at $375. Micarta "full tang" such as posted are $385. Stainless, nickel silver guard etc add up. But $50 down to dealer gets knife on way and arrives in 6-12 wks generally.
Or can go through shop direct for same money down and put $2 wk in jar, and 4 yrs later when knife ready, you have money there.
They only get more expensive and never cheaper year to year. I do not advise delay if you truly want one. Down payment to shop locks in current price.
