OT: Seeking laptop advice please

I will be turning in my work-issued laptop this week and would like to find a personal replacement. My requirements are very simple, I expect. I poke my head in here and a few other forums, check auctions on GunBroker, check my e-mail account. I have a number of MS files which I would like to maintain in their current format so, for simplicity, I'd like something MS compatible/loaded with MS Office Suite/equivalent. I don't do any sort of gaming and don't expect to start. I do have a fair number of picture files but I think that's just storage space.

Something in my makeup does not work well with touch screens so I'd like a traditional keyboard. Umm....that's about all.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
