Geeks, help needed
Now you've got it clean, consider investing in a good antivirus/antimalware/internet security program. I've been running ZoneAlarm since it was just a firewall. It is now available as "Extreme Security", you can load it on up to three PC's and a two year license is only $110. That's only $18 per year per PC. After messing around with various issues years ago, losing time and money, it's been worth every penny I've spent on it. The other day I picked up a USB that I used to give a presentation with a couple months ago. Popped it into my USB port and BOING - ZoneAlarm was on it like a stink on a skunk. Picked up a couple of worms - which went exactly no where. Anyway, I've played with the free stuff too, but for my work computers the peace of mind that comes from running a top of the line anti-virus is worth the expense.
