Not only kills the birds, but also dresses, packages and freezes them. Very impressive piece of ordinance!
Great picture!

Our annual Turkey shoot at the Kate Carpenters muzzleloading club. 1st Saturday in November each year. 16 shots everyone shoots at an "X" on an index card at 25 yards. We are so old that now they let us put a dot on the X so we can see what we are shooting at. Everyone shoots and if you don't come within at least a 1/4 to 3/8ths of an inch of the center of the x your a SOL. Every 4th shot they give out a ham. One of my shots was absolutely in the center of the X. The other shot was about 3/8ths inch away. I use those little shoot n see dots and hope to see it turn green when the smoke clears.
All offhand of course. The gun is a Tip Curtis Virginia Rifle (made in Tennessee LOL). 50 caliber with a Colerain barrel with .016 round bottom rifling and a Jim Chambers Deluxe Siler lock.
Bob
I like the whole idea of that shoot.
