Lyman 311008

Yes I do. I have a 94 that had some serious rust in the bore the last couple of inches. I cut it down to just over 16" and put a reciever sight on it. when we moved to the country last year I was wanting something a fairly quiet but with more punch than a .22. Trying to find a reasonably priced .32-20 proved difficult so I decided to turn the 94 into one.

The load I setteled on was a 311008 and a 31133 (the hollow point version of the 008) with 5.4gr of Red Dot and no filler. I either used WLP primers or Wolf Large Rifles. The bullet is seated and crimped in the top lube grove and feeds fine. My 16" carbine holds 6+1 vs 5+1 of full length cartridges. Velocity is just under 1200 FPS with the solid and just over with the HP.

At 50 yards groups hover around an inch sometimes just under. At 100 it will do 2-2.5". They way it is sighted in at 100 it hits to the center of the front bead and at 50 it is right on the top edge. It is a blast to shoot, I need to get out and cast a pile of 008s now that it is cooling off.
