Black powder & replica revolver -- rifling question --
I've probably got 5 or six Italian percussion revolvers. The Armi-San Marco 51's had deep rifling I remember. I have a few Pietta's and they have the shallow rifling. Uberti's 51 rifling appears deeper. A plastic brush of around 44 caliber on one of those twisted wire handles would make a great companion to brush out the dry fouling.
One other thing is to use a wool wad or some cream of wheat to scour the bore of the previous shot while firing.
