FS: Colt Official Police, 38 Special, 4" barrel. This gun will make for a great shooter. It was reblued a long time ago and now shows wear. It has a trigger shoe fitted to it, a wide hammer spur ("target" hammer) of unknown maker/smith (if you have any idea who this hammer might be from, please let me know, for my edification), and a set of hard rubber after market target grips. The gun has been reblued at some point in time, long ago, and shows some surface freckling, as seen in pictures. Bore is good, timing is good, lock up is tight.

S/N is 467093 which I think puts it in the Army Special serial number range around 1922 vintage. Not sure if this is a transition gun or if was rebarreled with a an Official Police barrel a long time ago. In any case, this sucker has all of the makings of a great shooter.
