Replacement sights for a GP100
by stonewalrus, Monday, September 29, 2014, 17:09 (3713 days ago)
I have managed to lose the sights for my son's GP100 when we went scope and then red dot. With that phase over he wants to go back to sights. If I am going to have to buy sights I am thinking we might not want factory sights. Any suggestions?

These are pretty good but you'll have to find them on the used market.

Millett no longer makes pistol sights....

They stopped after bushnell bought the company from Mrs. Millet or what ever her name was.
Pretty sure one of the sights that Bowen makes will fit.
Or call Ruger for a factory replacement.

Unless you want to go fiber optic in the front. I am beginning to "see" the advantage of them for field shooting.

Well since it's for me guess I should comment, I was thinking fire sights since this is my hunting gun. Just wasn't familiar with what was the best option.
