2 Militia Members in Local Slammer

The so called Militia members down here to "secure the border" have been a thorn in the side of local law enforcement and yesterday two of them were arrested, but not for what you think.
One of them went into a local convenience store, used the bathroom and when he left forgot to take his 9mm pistol. An employee found the pistol and called the SO to come and take it out, which they did.
A while later the same militia member came back to the store asking for his pistol and was told to check with the SO who now had it.
Another militia member went to the SO to claim the pistol and showed his Indiana CHL and filled out a sworn declaration it was his pistol and he left it in the store bathroom.
In the meantime, the SO had reviewed the store video trying to identify the man who left the pistol and they knew it was not the same person who came into the office trying to claim the pistol as his. When confronted with the video Militiaman 2 fessed up and said he was trying to get it back for a buddy who left it there and had no CHL.
MM 2 was arrested for making a false statement to law enforcement and MM1 was arrested for the illegal possession of a handgun in a place covered with an alcohol sales license.
