I ordered the 3 speed 10" wheel package with flat platen attachment, upgraded to the 2 HP motor, and a extra tool arm with delivery was $1,822...

There are less expensive 2x72 grinders available but are limited in attachments, others start out less than the KMG but once you order all the attachments and arms they cost more. The Bader III is similar in cost but I liked the KMG looks better, and of course there is the king of grinders the Burr King, but they start out around $2,495. This might be of interest to you....
