Have you guys ever had the paint on the top of the XS Big Dot sights chip off from a holster? I carry my little 938 in a White Hat Mini-Tuck holster and it looks like it must be chipping the white paint at the top of the dot. I still shoot it fine. Definitely don't want to warranty out the sights....it's a pain in the derrière fitting front sights to a Sig. I wonder if there is a paint that would match where I could just touch it up a bit.
Get ahold of XS...

I wish I could find an all leather holster that thin but I don't think anyone does...not a good one anyhow. Lots of thin suede leather pouches with plastic clips. Everything else is thick leather.

bright white and pretty durable on metal.
I will give that a try before replacing the sight...

I'd rather just touch it up, especially if it's gonna keep chipping off. Fitting a new sight is a pain, especially on a sig with that tiny front dovetail. I'm sure XS would replace it but I'm not sure it isn't more a fault with the holster. It's a nice holster but I suspect the sight comes up on the draw and hits the Kydex. I may see if I can super glue a felt strip around the bottom of the sight channel. It wouldn't be a problem at all with the factory steel Sig sights but I like these express sights for this little gun's purpose.
Rustoleum white appliance epoxy

Comes in a little bottle like the old white-out typewriter correction fluid. In the paint section at Wallyworld. Easy to apply, tough as nails, and hard not to see under most any conditions. I overpainted the faded-out night sights on my Combat Commander with it rather than get them replaced. It will wear or scratch off eventually, but is easy to reapply.
Cool....

I already bought that pain pen from the above post but I'll look for a bottle of this just the same. Between the two of them I ought to be fine. I figure the paint on a sight is a wear item anyhow on a gun meant for using:)

They have a built-in sight channel that helps protect the front sight.
I know Lowes has the appliance paint in white and black

I use the white fairly often. Works well as an undercoat for orange or red model paint for sights too. I think Walmart carries the appliance paint as well.
